Nurturing Lands was accepted for the Clunes Ceramics Award exhibition in 2010 – very exciting to be selected.

The work I exhibited was a group of 9 pieces – a group of pieces related to the work I showed as part of the Women’s Salon (Counihan Gallery, Brunswick) in the same year.

The inspiration for the forms came from my local area, and the sense of stories inside the land continues from my earlier work that was inspired by Central Australia and presented as my graduating exhibition at ANU in 2008.
